Sustainability
Towards a Brighter Tomorrow
JAC Group is taking its social responsibilities seriously and is an active supporter of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We play our role to improve the environment, the well-being of our people and the future success of the regions in which we operate.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
With offices in 11 countries, JAC Group respects diversity and different values, including nationality, race, age, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, religion, and belief, and provides fair opportunities and an environment appropriate to individual circumstances.
“Diversity, Equity & Inclusion” is an essential value for us and "Fairness" a core part of our Philosophy & Policy. The Group is committed to creating a workplace where more professionals can flourish in their own way in a more open environment.
By introducing a diverse workforce to our client, we will actively contribute to the creation of a society in which a wide range of professionals can thrive.
Promoting An Environment Anyone Can Shine As Themselves
As of 2024, the Group has employees from over 30 different nationalities and has embraced Freedom & Discipline and Fairness as the core of its Philosophy & Policy since its establishment. The Group is actively reinforcing its commitment to promoting Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) to create an inclusive and supportive work environment where employees can truly be themselves.
In order to promote the increase of female managers, we have established a Women's Empowerment Committee and are intensifying our efforts to support and develop female employees for leadership positions. While we already have a 100% return-to-work rate after childbirth, thanks to generous support and improvements in our work environment, we are also working towards standardising the practice of employees' partners taking leaves, including paternity leave.
Within the company, the Working Parents Committee, a childcare support initiative, has been active for 17 years. It has cultivated a culture where employees with children, regardless of gender, often have lunch together and engage in discussions on childcare concerns and the work-life balance.
We have also established an LGBTQ+ Committee to foster a better understanding of LGBTQ+ employees and create an inclusive environment. This is achieved through conducting training sessions for all employees, participating in events like Tokyo Rainbow Pride, and distributing Ally stickers to individuals who wish to show their support as Allies. In addition to raising awareness internally, we have implemented a system where consultants in our business can identify and introduce LGBTQ+ friendly companies.
Our approach to human rights is guided by our Human Rights Policy, which is designed to protect the dignity of all individuals, not just our employees, and to prevent any infringement on human rights. As a company that places people at the centre of our operations, our goal is to foster a society where individuals with different values can thrive through our business activities.
