Spearheading JAC Group’s international expansion in 11 countries worldwide
JAC Recruitment Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo), an industry leader in the recruitment consultancy business is pleased to announce that Hiromi Tazaki has been appointed to serve as Chairman and Managing Director as from January 1, 2022, as resolved by the Board of Directors at its meeting held on December 24, 2021.
Having arrived in the UK in 1974 and after having been employed by a Japanese financial institution in the City of London, Hiromi Tazaki was recruited in 1981 by JAC Recruitment’s founder, Director Tadayoshi Tazaki, who had been considering the prospect of fully entering London’s recruitment consultancy market. Upon joining the company she was assigned to work that involved managing operations in existence prior to establishment of the JAC Group, including the company’s recruitment consultancy, food products and real estate businesses. She subsequently went on to spearhead growth of the company’s respective operations serving as its Managing Director.
Hiromi Tazaki set the company’s recruitment consultancy business on the right track in the UK, and subsequently orchestrated its entry into Singapore where the company established its first overseas location in 1987. She then went on to expand JAC Recruitment’s reach with its entry into the Japanese market in 1988, Malaysia in 1994, followed by other Asian nations. She was also instrumental in the plan to get JAC Recruitment Japan listed on the stock exchange resulting in its initial listing on the JASDAQ market in 2006 and subsequently transferring to the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2015.

Its management seeks to further expand the company’s business in the global market while continuing to achieve growth under Hiromi Tazaki’s leadership. Hiromi Tazaki is currently directing JAC Recruitment’s focus toward diversity and inclusion (D&I) initiatives which entails creating workplace environments that serve to empower the company’s diverse workforce. Moreover, she has her sights set on establishing a charitable foundation in 2022 dedicated to her longstanding work in the field of animal welfare and environmental conservation. She also intends to concentrate on efforts involving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and other initiatives that benefit society. Going forward, Hiromi Tazaki seeks to serve as a business leader who contributes to society and economic development while prompting growth of the JAC Group’s operations worldwide.

After having changed from his position as Managing Director, Takeshi Matsuzono will continue serving as a Director of the company. In that capacity, he will contribute to promoting operations particularly in terms of recruiting and training JAC Recruitment’s executive talent while also helping to further shape the company’s corporate culture.
